Bend back the embossing on the nut with a screwdriver.
To adjust, tighten the caulked nut firmly, while rotating the wheel by hand to avoid overtightening the bearing.
Then slightly unscrew the nut and check the play.
(40-644) The bearing clearance is set correctly if the pressure washer still moves away from the screwdriver.
Caution! The screwdriver should not make any movements. If necessary, loosen the nut and check the gap again.
(40-645) After installation, caulk the nut (arrow). After two such lockings, replace the nut.
Attach the wheel, lower the vehicle, tighten the wheel bolts crosswise to a torque of 180 Nm.
