Remove wheel.
Unbend the cotter pin of the castle nut, and in most cases they are simply broken off. Drive the cotter pin out of the nut.
With a special puller (3) hinge can be easily removed (2) tie rod with swing arm (1)
Loosen the slotted nut with a wrench.
Pull the tie rod joint upwards out of the swing arm (next to the wheel housing). This will require a cam puller.
Loosen the locknut at the tie rod, holding the tie rod with a hexagon.
Mark the position of the threaded connection of the tie rod joint, then after assembly there will be a certain correspondence.
Replace hinge.
Insert the ball stud of the tie rod joint into the swivel arm, if necessary knock gently from above.
Tighten the tie rod joint ring nut to 30 Nm until the notch in the nut lines up with the hole under the cotter pin.
After tightening the castle nut (3) on finger thread (1) tie rod should insert the cotter pin (2)
Insert a new cotter pin, bend its ends.
Tighten the lock nut of the threaded connection to a torque of 50 Nm.
Check wheel alignment.
