Applying sealant to the timing cover
Apply sealant to the clean timing cover seating surface (fig. 2.183).
Observe the tightening sequence of the timing cover bolts.
Tighten the mounting bolts in the sequence shown to a torque of 20 Nm (fig. 2.184).
