Work execution procedure
Remove the sound insulation and covers from the cylinder heads.
Rotate the crankshaft using the T10172 counter support slowly in the direction of engine shaft rotation until the T10193 stopper of the first cylinder bank camshaft and the T10194 stopper of the second cylinder bank camshaft enter the installation holes (fig. 2.197).
Raise the car on a lift.
Check that the marking arrow A on the torsional vibration damper matches the marking on the mounting pin arrow B (fig. 2.198).
If the marks do not match, adjust the valve timing.
