Removal and installation a vacuum pump (VW Tiguan 1)

Remove the engine casing. Remove the air filter. Remove the high pressure pump with the "roller tappet". Unscrew the ground wire "3" and unscrew the bolt "4".



Remove vacuum hose "1" from the vacuum pump.



Unscrew the "arrow" bolts and remove the vacuum pump.

Instructions: Disassembling the vacuum pump is not permitted.

Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following. Clean the mounting surfaces. Place the gasket on the vacuum pump, insert 2 bolts and then insert into the cylinder head.
