
The notch on the damper should be opposite the arrow mark on the lower cover of the chain drives. The marks "1" on the camshafts should be facing up. Remove the lower cover of the timing chain drive.
Note: The distribution valve has a left-hand thread.
Remove the distribution valve using the tool "T10352" (cCZB engine designation: tool -T10352/1-) in the direction of the "arrow".

Unscrew the "arrow" screws and remove the crankshaft support ramp.

Press the oil pump chain tensioner in the -direction of the arrow- and secure with the "T40011" lock. Remove the oil pump chain tensioner "1". Remove the oil pump drive chain.

Using a suitable screwdriver, lift the tensioner locking wedge in the direction of arrow 1, press the drive chain tension bar in the direction of arrow 2 and secure with the locking pin "T40011".

Remove the drive chain tension bar "2".

Instructions The intake camshaft operates in the direction of engine rotation.
Remove the drive chain.
Installation
The camshaft drive chain tensioner has been removed. The tensioner bar chain tensioner has been removed.
Instructions: The following steps should be done in one working step, for this 2 mechanics are required. Position the colored links of the drive chain according to the marks on the sprockets. Hold the key until the tension bar is installed.
Check the TDC position of the crankshaft.

Place the timing chain on the exhaust camshaft. Place the timing chain on the crankshaft. Turn the intake camshaft with a wrench in the -direction of the arrow- and place the timing chain.

Install the drive chain tensioner and tighten bolt "2". Fit the crankshaft support ramp and screw in the "arrow" bolts by hand. Remove the "T40011" locking pin from the chain tensioner. Tighten the "arrow" bolts of the crankshaft support ramp. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
