Installing the front cross panel in the service position (VW Passat B5)

Execution order

1. Remove the front bumper.

2. Loosen the clamps and remove the air duct connecting the front panel air intake and the air filter.

3. On the right side of the front panel, unscrew the bolt (3) (see Fig. Front body panel fastening elements) and instead of the bolt, screw in the VW-3369 tool.

4. On the left side of the front panel in a special hole (9) (see Fig. Front body panel fastening elements) screw in the VW-3369 tool.

5. Remove the bolts securing the top and front of the front panel.

6. Move the front panel forward using the special tool VW-3369.
