Note: No switching is performed on the SEAT IBIZA, as this vehicle is not available with the Longlife Service system.
Please note: For vehicles with the Longlife-Service system, for which extended service intervals are to be saved, the interval indicator cannot be reset to its original position using the setting button. In this case, the indicator must be reset to its original position at a service station.
Switching or, respectively, setting the maintenance interval indicator to the mode with regulated intervals:
Turn off the ignition, leave the ignition key in position "O".

Press and hold down the setup button -3- next to the speedometer.
Switch on the ignition. Depending on the vehicle's equipment, the message Service IN appears on the multifunction display -1 (SERVICE THROUGH) or SERVICE SITE (SERVICE LATER), or on the trip meter "2" a wrench symbol or a clock symbol appears, respectively.
Release button "3".
Turn the setting button -3- to the right. This resets the service interval indicator to its original position.
- POLO: The trip meter or multifunction display now shows the normal readings.
- IBIZA: Symbols appear on the trip meter.
