Examination

Move the windshield wiper levers to their original position. To do this, wet the window glass with water, turn on the windshield wipers for a short time and stop them using the switch.



Check whether the windshield wiper blades are at the "a" marks on the glass (for right-hand drive vehicles, at the "b" marks).

If necessary, remove the windshield wiper arms and rearrange them so that the brushes are at the marks. Removing the windshield wiper arm stated here.

Rear window

Examination

Move the windshield wiper lever to its original position. To do this, wet the window glass with water, turn on the windshield wiper for a short time and stop it using the switch.



The distance "a" between the brush and the lower edge of the glass should be 27±5 mm.



If necessary, remove the windshield wiper arm and reposition it so that the blade is at the prescribed distance from the bottom edge of the glass. Removing the rear windshield wiper arm stated here.
