Sliding roof panel: cleaning/lubricating the guide rails (VW Polo 4)

Special tool: not required.

Necessary consumables:

Special grease G00045002 from VW/SEAT.



Open the roof panel completely and wipe the shiny guide rails that have become accessible.

Note: Cover adjacent body parts with newspaper. The grease should not come into contact with the paintwork, otherwise wipe it off immediately.

Lubricate the guide rails with special grease G00045002 from VW/SEAT.

If water penetrates into the passenger compartment through the sliding roof panel during rain or when washing the car, have the leak repaired at a service station.
