Additional instructions:

If the vehicle is equipped with side airbags, the seat backs must only be covered with approved special covers from VW or SEAT.

A rearward-facing child seat may only be placed on the passenger seat next to the driver after the airbag for the passenger seat next to the driver has been deactivated at a VW/SEAT service station. In addition, a warning sign "no child seat in front" must be displayed on the right-hand side of the vehicle near the door rail, sun visor or on the dashboard, otherwise the driver may be fined during a traffic safety inspection.
