Removal and installation the airbag control unit (VW Tiguan 1)

Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Remove the trim in the footwell.

Instructions: For clarity, the center console is not shown in the pictures.

Unscrew two nuts "1" (2 Nm). Remove the left corner "2", remove the right corner "3". Unlock the connector clamps and disconnect it from the control unit.



Unscrew nuts "1" and "2" (9 Nm). Remove control unit "3" from the car.
