Removal and installation the front passenger airbag (VW Tiguan 1)

Remove the negative terminal from the battery. Remove the right side trim of the front panel. Remove the glove compartment light "W6". Remove the glove compartment. Disconnect the wiring harness from the front passenger airbag. Unscrew two screws "1" (9 Nm). Unscrew two screws "2" and "3" (9 Nm). Remove the front passenger airbag "4" from its mountings.



Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Instructions: When installing, apply D 197 300 A1 locking agent to the threads of screws "2" and "3" (9 Nm).
