Caution: Observe safety precautions when working with the airbag.
Note: When removing and installing elements that are in the field of view (switches, covers, trim panels, etc.), seal the places where the tool, wedge, screwdriver, etc. is used with regular tape.
Removal
Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and turn the key to position 0 (preliminary stop).

Carefully pry panel 1 using a wedge at the fasteners (fig. 7.100).

Unlock the plug connection and disconnect the plug (fig. 7.101).
Unlock the front passenger airbag indicator lamp and remove the lamp from the panel.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
