Raise the vehicle to a horizontal position, see section "Lifting a car".
Unscrew the filler plug on the gearbox. The filler plug with an internal Allen key SW17 is located on the gearbox at the front under the starter.
If a little oil flows out of the hole when you unscrew the plug, the oil level is OK. Otherwise, check with your finger whether the oil level reaches the bottom edge of the filler hole. If not, top up the level. This requires a filling syringe.
When refilling the level, place a container underneath and collect excess oil. Do not pour too much oil at one time.
Filling capacity: 2.0 l. All-wheel drive: 2.4 l: synchronized angular transmission: 0.7 l.
Caution: Be sure to ensure that the oil is filled no more than to the bottom edge of the filler hole.
Tighten the filler plug and lower the vehicle.
