Stationary jack
To avoid damage to the underside of the vehicle, it is necessary to use suitable rubber pads.
The car must never be lifted by the pallet (oil pan) engine, gearbox, rear or front axle (suspension beam), otherwise he may get seriously injured.
Warning: Never start the engine on a raised vehicle - there is a risk of damage to the vehicle and injury!
Caution: When working under the vehicle, it must be securely supported on stands.
Automobile overpass (platform lift)
Before driving onto a lift platform or overpass, make sure that there is sufficient distance between low-lying parts of the vehicle and the platform.
Jack and lift mounting locations


The vehicle may only be lifted at the locations indicated in the figure, i.e., the lifting devices may be installed under the body base stiffening elements, Figure B31-077C - front jack installation points Figure B31-078C - rear jack installation points The installation of the lift or stationary jack must be performed in such a way that the rear edge of the jack or lift platform (paw) is located under the middle of the recess in the body sill.
The jack or lift platform must not be installed under the vertical flanging (stiffener) body threshold. Standard jack.
