This device ensures that the selected speed is maintained without affecting the accelerator pedal, provided that the speed is above 35 km/h and the engine power is sufficient to maintain it.
The speed controller is controlled by a switch «A» (see picture) and buttons «B», located on the handle of the headlight and turn signal switch lever.
To turn on the regulator, move the switch «A» left to position «EIN» («Included»).
After reaching the selected speed, lightly press the button «B» to enter the speed into the controller memory and release the accelerator pedal.
If you need to temporarily increase the speed of movement (for example, when overtaking), depress the accelerator pedal. After releasing the accelerator pedal, the previously programmed speed is automatically restored.
The speed of movement can be increased without affecting the accelerator pedal. To do this, just click on the button «B» and keep it pressed until the desired speed is reached. After releasing the button «B» the new speed is entered into the memory of the controller.
The cruise control is disabled whenever the brake or clutch pedal is pressed, or if the speed drops too low compared to the speed entered in the controller memory. To restore the programmed driving speed, move the switch «A» all the way to the left.
Full deactivation of the speed controller occurs when the switch is moved «A» to the full right to the position «AUS» («Turned off») and when the ignition is turned off.
Note. On vehicles with automatic transmission, the cruise control can only be used in positions «ABOUT» or «2» selector lever. When the selector lever is moved to any other position, the regulator turns off.
It is best not to use the governor when driving in heavy traffic or on poor roads that require frequent speed changes.
