2. Attach the VAG 1306 oil can with transmission oil of the required specification to the hood.
3. Unscrew plug A from the inspection hole (see illustration), remove the bypass tube C and let the transmission oil drain.
4. Unscrew the pan mounting bolts, acting in a diagonal sequence, and remove the pan together with the gasket.
5. Unscrew the mounting bolts (see arrows in the illustration) and remove the oil pickup from the valve body if necessary.
6. Clean the two magnets in the tray and make sure they are installed correctly.

The installation of the pan and oil intake is carried out in the reverse order. Replace the old gasket and the sealing ring of the inspection hole plug with new ones. After installing the pan, fill the gearbox with transmission oil.
