Attention! The right and left wiper brush arms are powered by their own electric motors. Both levers work autonomously and can be dismantled separately. Synchronization of the course of both cleaner brushes is provided by control units on each electric motor.
The following is the procedure for removing the frame of one of the wiper arms. The procedure for removing the drive motor is the same as like the Golf cars.
Removing
18. Reinstall the glass cleaner in its original position.
19. Disconnect the battery.
20. Remove the brush holder.
21. Remove the fairing grille.
22. Remove the bolts (see arrows in illustration) and remove the front wall 1 fairing.
23. Disconnect plug 1 power supply of the electric motor cleaner (see illustration).
24. Unscrew the bolts of the cleaner frame (see arrows in illustration 17.23).
25. Unscrew the bolts of the cleaner frame 2 (see illustration 17.23) and remove the frame together with the rods and the electric motor, pushing the frame forward.
Installation
The frame is installed in the reverse order of removal.
When doing this, make sure that the pin on the frame goes into the rubber bushing on the dividing wall.
Tighten the bolts of the glass cleaner frame to the body with a force of 8-10 Nm.
