Removal
1. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the lock.
2. Remove the interior rearview mirror, see the relevant chapter.
3. Disconnect plug 1 of rain sensor 2 (see illustration).
4 Pry up the rain sensor 2 with a screwdriver and remove it from the holder 3 (see illustration 20.3). Be careful not to remove the sensor cover when removing it.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
The windshield in the place where the sensor is attached and adjacent must be clean.
Air bubbles must not form where the sensor is adjacent to the windshield.
