Removal and installation the crankshaft speed sensor (G28) (VW Caddy 3)

1. Remove the soundproofing casing.

2. Using clamps, clamp the cooling system (coolant) hoses leading to the oil radiator and disconnect them.

3. Remove the oil radiator.

4. Disconnect the connector from the engine crankshaft speed sensor (G2S).

5. Loosen the mounting screw (arrow) and remove the sensor.

5. Loosen the mounting screw (arrow) and remove the sensor.

Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Tightening torque of the sensor mounting screw: 5 Nm.
