Removing
1. Wet the rear window with water.
2. Turn on the windshield wiper and let it run for a while. Turn off the purifier. The cleaner brushes should return to their original position.
3. Mark the position of the wiper brushes on the rear window by sticking adhesive tape on the glass parallel to the rubber band of the brush.
4. Raise the protective cap 1 and unscrew the nut that secures the lever to the axle by about two turns (see arrow in illustration).
5. Move the wiper arm away from the glass, move it in one direction and then in the other direction to loosen its fit on the shaft cone. After that, completely unscrew the nut and remove the lever from the shaft.
Installation
6. Make sure the wiper motor is in the home position.
To do this, turn on the ignition, then turn on the cleaner motor for a short time and turn it off.
7. Install the brush holder on the shaft and, using the marks made with adhesive tape before removing the wiper, set it to the position in which it was before removal.
8. Screw the arm mounting nut onto the axle and tighten it to 12 Nm.
9. Close the nut with a cap and make sure it is fixed.
10. Moisten the glass with water and briefly turn the cleaner on and then off.
11. Check the position of the brush and, if necessary, correct the position of the brush holder.
