Removal
1. Wet the rear window with water.
2. Turn on the windshield wiper and let it run for a while. Turn off the wiper. The wiper blades should return to their original position.
3. Mark the position of the wiper blades on the rear window by sticking tape parallel to the rubber strip of the wiper blade onto the window.
4. Lift the protective cap 1 and unscrew the nut securing the lever to the axle by approximately two turns (see arrow in illustration).

5. Move the wiper arm away from the glass, move it to one side and then to the other to loosen its fit on the shaft cone. Then completely unscrew the nut and remove the arm from the shaft.
Installation
6. Make sure the wiper motor is in its original position.
To do this, turn on the ignition, then turn on the wiper motor for a short time and turn it off.
7. Install the brush holder on the shaft and, using the marks made with tape before removing the wiper, install it in the position it was in before removal.
8. Screw the lever mounting nut onto the axle and tighten it to 12 Nm.
9. Close the nut with the cap and make sure it is secured.
10. Wet the glass with water and turn the cleaner on and off briefly.
11. Check the position of the brush and adjust the position of the brush holder if necessary.
