Golf cars
Removal
1. Turn off the ignition and external lights.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Release the ventilation grille 1 from the bumper 2 by prying it with a plastic wedge, for example, HAZET 1965-20 (see illustration).
Caution! Before removing the right ventilation grille, first unscrew the mounting bolt.
4. Unscrew the two bolts 3, move the fog light 4 forward from the bumper and disconnect the plugs on its rear side (see illustration 26.3).
Install the fog light in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the ventilation grille is seated correctly.
5. Have the headlight angle checked at a workshop and adjusted if necessary.
Replacing fog light bulbs
6. Remove the fog light.
7. Turn the bulb holder on the back of the fog light counterclockwise and remove the bulb from the reflector.
Attention! The bulb cannot be removed from the socket.
8. Insert a new bulb with a socket into the headlight reflector and secure it by turning it clockwise.
9. Check the operation of the new bulb.
Touran cars
10. Release the ventilation grille from the bumper in the places indicated by the arrows, prying it with a plastic wedge, for example, HAZET 1965-20 (see illustration).
11. Unscrew the three bolts securing the fog light, move it forward and remove it from the bumper.
Further removal and subsequent installation of the fog light, as well as replacement of the bulb, is carried out in the same way as in Golf cars.
