Removing
1. Turn off the ignition and outside lights.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Release the ventilation grille 1 from the bumper 2 by prying it out with a plastic wedge, e.g. HAZET 1965-20 (see illustration).
Attention! Before removing the right ventilation grille, the fixing bolt must first be unscrewed.
4. Unscrew two bolts 3, move the fog lamp 4 forward from the bumper and disconnect the plugs on its back side (see illustration 26.3).
The fog lamp is installed in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the ventilation grille is seated correctly.
5. Have the headlight tilt checked by a workshop and correct if necessary.
Replacing fog lamp bulbs
6. Remove the fog lamp.
7. Turn the bulb holder on the back of the fog lamp counterclockwise and remove the bulb from the reflector.
Attention! The bulb does not come out of the socket.
8. Insert a new light bulb with a cartridge into the headlight reflector and fix it by turning it clockwise.
9. Check the function of the new light bulb.
Touran cars
10. Release the ventilation grill from the bumper in the places indicated by the arrows by prying it with a plastic wedge, for example, HAZET 1965-20 (see illustration).
11. Unscrew the three bolts of the fog lamp, move it forward and remove it from the bumper.
Further removal and subsequent installation of the fog lamp, as well as the replacement of the bulb, is carried out in the same way as for Golf cars.
