Disconnect the handbrake cable nuts 8, located on the outside of the handbrake equalizing lever 5, by unscrewing nuts 3 and 4 and pulling the cables out of the lever.
Disconnect the handbrake cables from the lever on the rear brake saddles, release the cables wherever they were secured and pull them out.
The installation of the handbrake cables is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling. It should be noted that the position of the handbrake cables on each of the two sides is different. The handbrake cables in models with disc brakes on the rear wheels are made specifically for this version.
After replacing the handbrake cables, tighten both adjusting nuts on the handbrake equalizer lever evenly so that they are not too tight. Check the position of the cables and, if necessary, adjust them according to the method described for the version of the corresponding brakes on the rear axle.
