The pressure in the engine lubrication system is measured using a pressure gauge, which must be equipped with a threaded fitting that is screwed in instead of the oil pressure sensor.
Disconnect the electric drive from the oil pressure sensor and unscrew the sensor from the engine block. The sensor is located on the oil filter side. In place of the sensor, install a pressure gauge with a pipe. Screw the removed oil pressure sensor into the other end of the pipe and connect an electrical wire to it.
Connect a test lamp or probe to the positive battery terminal of the sensor circuit.
Turn the ignition key.
Check if the control lamp is on. If not, replace the sensor (if the bulb is good of course).
Start the engine and slowly increase its speed.
Check if the control lamp goes out at a pressure of 0.15-0.45 kg/cm2. Otherwise, the pressure sensor must be replaced.
Increase engine speed. Check if the pressure gauge shows a pressure of 2.0 kg / cm2 at a speed of 2000 rpm. The engine must be warm. If the pressure gauge shows a different value, the oil pump should be repaired.
Shut off the engine, remove the pipe with a pressure gauge.
Screw in the oil pressure switch and tighten it to 12 Nm.
