It is necessary to pay attention to the difference in fastening of the receiving pipe to the manifold. Depending on the type of engine, this connection is carried out using two clamps or a flange with a gasket. During work, it is necessary to adhere to the following recommendations.
In order to avoid stripping the threads of the bolts that secure the flange of the intake pipe to the manifold, it is recommended to soak the connecting bolts in an anti-corrosion liquid.
Each time the exhaust manifold is disconnected from the cylinder head, the manifold gasket should be replaced.
When disconnecting the inlet pipe from the manifold, replace the flange gasket. Tighten the manifold flange mounting nuts evenly "crosswise" to a torque of 25 Nm.
If replacing the manifold, screw in the fitting to which the oxygen sensor is connected (if there is one), tightening it to a torque of 35 Nm.
Attention! An unregulated catalytic converter can be additionally installed in the exhaust system.
