Removal the sensor
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the sensor cover, which is located under the luggage compartment trim.
Disconnect the sensor connector.
Disconnect the fuel lines, having first marked the supply and return fuel lines with adhesive tape.
Loosen and unscrew the union nut of the sensor 10 (figure 157) with the appropriate key or with the help of a wooden rod using light hammer blows.
Remove the fuel sensor from the fuel tank.
Installing the sensor
Insert the fuel level sensor with a new gasket and loosely tighten the union nut.
Align the sensor so that the marks on the sensor and the flange of the hole into which the sensor is inserted match.
Tighten the union nut.
Connect the fuel lines according to the markings and secure them with clamps.
Connect the electrical wires.
Install the fuel level sensor cover.
Fill the fuel tank and check for leaks at the sensor installation location.
Connect the battery.
Check the operation of the fuel level sensor.
