4 and 5 cylinder engine
1. Disconnect the connecting plug and high voltage wire from the transformer.
Checking the resistance of the primary winding of the ignition coil

2. Connect an ohmmeter to terminals 1 and 15.
3. Required value: 0.5–0.7 Ohm.
4. If the obtained value does not correspond to the required one, replace the transformer.

Checking the resistance of the secondary winding of the ignition coil
5. Connect an ohmmeter to terminals 15 and 4.
6. Required value: 3-4 kOhm.
7. If the obtained value does not correspond to the required one, replace the transformer.

8. Connect the voltmeter to contacts 1 and 3 (-) of the plug (4).
9. Turn on the ignition. Required value: battery voltage 12–14 V. If necessary, eliminate the break in the wiring according to the electrical diagram.
10. Turn off the ignition, disconnect the voltmeter.
Checking the work
11. Disconnect the cold start valve plug and the multi-pin connection of the injection valves.

12. Connect the LED indicator to contacts 2 and 3 of the plug (4).
Caution: Do not touch the connected parts of the high voltage transformer and the indicator wires with your hand during this test.
13. Turn on the starter.
14. The LED should blink.
15. Otherwise, check the Hall sensor.
16. If no fault is detected, the Digifant control unit is obviously faulty.
17. Turn off the ignition.
18. Connect the triple plug to the transformer.
4-cylinder engine only
1. Connect the voltmeter to terminals 1 and 15 of the transformer.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Required value: not less than 2 V, after 1–2 seconds it should drop to 0 V. Otherwise, replace the transformer.
4. Connect the plug to the cold start valve and the multi-pin connection of the injection valves.
