Removing
1. Set crankshaft to TDC for cylinder 1.
2. Disconnect the high voltage wires from the distributor and remove the distributor cover, to do this, open the two side locks with a screwdriver.
3. Disconnect plug from Hall sender.
4 cylinder engine
4. Unscrew the locking screw on the distributor post, having previously removed the protective cap. Remove the stopper and remove the ignition distributor.
Attention! Do not change the position of the engine crankshaft with the distributor removed.
Installation
1. Before installing, check the position of the engine at TDC for 1 cylinder. This means that the marks on the crankshaft pulley or flywheel, as well as the camshaft drive gear, must match.
4 cylinder engine
2. In the opening of the ignition distributor, install the oil pump shaft bearing neck parallel to the cardan shaft (longitudinal axis of the engine).
3. Install the distributor slider so that the mark on it coincides with the mark on the edge of the distributor housing. The dust cap must then be removed.
4. Install the ignition distributor in this position and secure.
5 cylinder engine
5. Remove the distributor slider, remove the dust cap and reinstall the slider. With light rotations from side to side, check the reliability of the fastening of the slider.
6. Put on the cover of the ignition distributor, close the plate locks, after checking the cover for cracks, replace if necessary.
7. If disconnected, then connect the high voltage wires to the distributor cap.
8. Adjust ignition timing.
