It is always necessary to bleed the air from the system if the pipes have been disconnected or the system has been completely filled with oil.

Caution! Do not refill drained hydraulic oil. Only refill with new VW hydraulic oil.

1. If the hydraulic oil is changed, thoroughly rinse the filter in clean gasoline.

2. Fill the expansion tank with hydraulic oil up to the MAX mark.

3. Place the machine on stands.

4. With the engine stopped, turn the steering wheel repeatedly to the right and left until it stops, while the air should come out of the cylinder.

5. Add hydraulic oil up to the MAX mark.

6. Set the wheels straight and remove the car from the jacks.

7. Start the engine and let it idle, while monitoring the oil level in the expansion tank. If the level drops, add oil until the level becomes constant and is at the MAX mark.

8. With the engine running, turn the steering wheel right and left until it stops bubbling in the expansion tank.
