Draining and filling ATF (VW Tiguan 1)

Turn off the engine. Unscrew the threaded plug for checking the ATF in the pan "arrow".



Remove the bypass tube "1" through the inspection hole. Drain the ATF oil. Install the bypass tube. Tighten the plug tightly by hand. Pour 3 liters of ATF through the filler tube. Start the engine and switch the selector to all positions, holding it in each position for about 10 seconds. Finally, check the ATF level and top up the oil.
