Draining and filling coolant (VW Caddy 3)

1. Open the cap of the expansion tank of the cooling system.

2. Remove the soundproofing casing.

3. Open the drain valve (arrow) on the radiator; if necessary, install an auxiliary hose on the valve branch.

Caution! On vehicles without a drain valve, remove the retaining clip (arrow) and disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator.

Also disconnect the cooling system hose from the coolant-oil heat exchanger (arrow) and drain the remaining coolant.
