Removal
1. Remove the lower instrument panel trim on the passenger side.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the resistor block.
3. Unscrew the resistor block and remove it from the heater.
Installation
1. Apply special sealant VW-AMV 17600005 to the mating surfaces of the resistor block and the heater block.
2. Install the resistor block onto the heater block and screw it in place.
3. Connect the multi-pin electrical connector to the resistor block.
4. Install the passenger side lower instrument panel trim.
