Installation

The installation of dismantled parts is performed in the reverse order of removal. In this case, the switches on the block should be in the same position as when the block was removed.

It should be remembered that for the perfect functioning of the heater switch unit, the adapter and switches must be installed in a certain position.

Attention! In cars with Climatronic air conditioning, the control unit is secured with four screws. All flaps are driven by electric motors.

Checking the functionality of the dampers

9. Air distribution flap. Turn on the interior blower fan at full power. When the blower direction switch is in the "Windshield blower" position, air should not flow from the floor space blower deflector. Otherwise, remove the flexible shaft from the adapter, turn the switch 1/4 turn and reconnect the shaft to the adapter.

10. Temperature control flap. Make sure the switch can be easily adjusted to all positions.
