Golf cars with diesel engines.
Removal
Caution! Allow the heater to cool before starting work.
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the trim from below the instrument panel in the driver's side footwell, see the relevant chapter.
3. Open the pocket on the driver's side by squeezing the sides of the pocket, opening the pocket, then pushing it down to release it from the hinges, then removing it.
4. Unscrew the screws and remove the deflector 19 (see illustration 8.0) blowing the driver's side legroom.
5. Unscrew screws 1 from cover 2 (see illustration).

6. Unscrew nut 3 of the power terminal, as well as nut 4 of the ground (-) wire terminal and disconnect the wires from the heating element (see illustration 17.5).
7. Disconnect plug 5 from the heating element and remove the heating element itself (see illustration 17.5). The heating element is installed in the reverse order of removal.
