Removal
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Unscrew the two plastic bolts 2 and remove the trim 1 from the bottom of the instrument panel in the footwell on the passenger side (see illustration).
3. Disconnect plug 1 from the fan motor and unscrew bolt 2 (see illustration).
4. Press the locking tab 3, turn the electric motor counterclockwise (see arrow A in the illustration) and pull it out by lowering it down. Additional resistance.
5. Disconnect plug 4 from the additional resistance (see illustration 16.3).
6. Press the locking tab (see arrow B in Illustration 16.3) and remove the additional resistance.
The installation of the electric motor and additional resistance is performed in the reverse order of removal. After installation, the operation of the fan should be checked.
