Rear window wiper

  • 1 - folding cover;
  • 2 - nut, 15 Nm;
  • 3 - windshield wiper lever;
  • 4 - sealing sleeve;
  • 5 - washer nozzles;
  • 6 - sealing ring;
  • 7 - windshield wiper motor;
  • 8 - nut, 8 Nm;
  • 9 - damping ring;
  • 10 - spacer sleeve;
  • 11 - Windscreen wiper blade

Removal



1. Move the hinged cover at the base of the windshield wiper arm upwards and unscrew the windshield wiper arm mounting nut a few turns. By moving the windshield wiper arm sideways, loosen its fit on the axle, then unscrew the nut and remove the windshield wiper arm.

2. Remove the rear door interior trim.

2. Remove the rear door interior trim.


3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) and the washer fluid supply hose (2) from the windshield wiper motor (the rear wiper mounting bolts are shown by arrows).



4. Unscrew the wiper motor mounting nuts and remove it.

Installation



Installation


1. Install the sealing bushing into the rear window opening (shown by arrow). Carefully install the wiper motor into place and secure it with the nuts.

2. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

3. Tighten the wiper motor mounting nuts to 8 Nm.

4. Tighten the windscreen wiper arm mounting nut to 15 Nm.

4. Tighten the windscreen wiper arm mounting nut to 15 Nm.


5. Set the wiper arm so that the distance (a) between the wiper blade and the lower edge of the rear window is 25 mm.
