Disconnect the lever from the gear selector rod by placing the gearbox on «gap».
Loosen locknut 2 (pic. 371) and screw in the bolt 1 until the retaining ring 4 moves away from the bolt.

Unscrew the bolt again until it comes into contact with the retaining ring and tighten the lock nut 2.
Check by slightly turning the stem 3 whether the ring 4 has risen.
To adjust the 5th gear blocking bolt, do the following:
- Set the gearbox to «gap».
- Remove cap from bolt 29 (see fig. 364). Loosen locknut 2 (pic. 372) and screw in bolt 1 until pin 3 is lifted.
- Loosen the bolt 1/3 turn and tighten locknut 2.
