It may happen that after filling the recommended amount of oil, it will leak from the filler hole. This happens because the power unit in the car is tilted 20 to the left, and the position of the filler hole and oil control remains unchanged. In this regard, it is recommended to fill the gearbox housing with the required amount of oil, using the following instructions:
After repairing the box, it is necessary to fill it with oil in the amount of 2 liters before installing it in the car. In this case, the box should be installed horizontally. The oil level should reach the level of the filler hole.
In case of checking the oil level in the box.; installed in the car (for example after replacing the seal), you should very carefully unscrew the plug. Hold the plug at the hole, then quickly remove it and check if oil flows out of the hole. If oil flows out, the level is normal. Screw in and tighten the plug.
If the oil is leaking out in drops, wait until the leak stops and then screw the plug back in.
To add oil, disconnect the flexible shaft of the speedometer and, using a flexible hose and a funnel, add 0.2 l of oil to the crankcase (figure 373).
