Do not check the oil level in the gearbox if there is no leakage from the gearbox crankcase.
It may happen that after filling the recommended amount of oil, it will leak from the filler hole. This is because the power unit in the car is tilted 20 to the left, and the position of the filler hole and oil control remained unchanged. Therefore, it is recommended to fill the gearbox housing with the correct amount of oil using the following guidelines:
After repairing the box, it must be filled with oil in the amount of 2 liters before installation in the car. In this case, the box should be installed horizontally. The oil level should reach the level of the filler hole.
In case of checking the oil level in the box.; installed in the car (e.g. after replacing the seal), remove the plug very carefully. Hold the plug at the hole, and then quickly remove it and check if oil is pouring out of the hole. Oil leakage means that the level is normal. Screw in and tighten the plug.
If oil drips out, wait until the flow stops and screw in the plug.
To add oil, disconnect the speedometer flexible shaft and use a flexible hose and funnel to add 0.2 liters of oil to the crankcase (pic. 373).
