Before carrying out any work, please read the following instructions:
With each disassembly of the caliper, the seals included in the repair kit must be replaced.
Do not install pistons or caliper cylinders with a worn, scratched or damaged sliding surface.
The brake fluid used must meet the standards of the vehicle manufacturer and must not be stored for more than 1.5 years.
Pistons and O-rings are lubricated with clean brake fluid.
The guides at the caliper are two rods (old type) or two bushings (new type). The caliper is equipped with one piston. The old style caliper device is shown in rice. 416, and new - on rice. 417.
Secure the caliper body in a vice and remove the anther with a screwdriver.
Install a wooden block in front of the piston and, having brought compressed air to the hole for the brake hose, squeeze the piston out of the caliper.
Using a screwdriver, carefully remove the o-ring from the caliper cylinder.
If the caliper is in good condition, thoroughly clean all parts. During installation, use the parts from the repair kit.
Insert a new O-ring lubricated with brake fluid into the groove.
Lubricate the piston surface with brake fluid.
Insert the piston into the caliper cylinder and insert the outer edge of the anther with a screwdriver into the groove of the caliper (pic. 424).
Push the piston into the caliper body (pic. 425) using a special device.
