Replacing the oil filter
The oil filter must be replaced in accordance with the vehicle maintenance schedule.
- Remove the old filter.
- Use only filter elements with the numbers listed:
056 115 561 G - for petrol engines
068 115 561 B - for diesel engines
or similar to avoid engine damage.
Lightly lubricate the new filter element with oil.
- Tighten the filter element by hand according to the manufacturer's instructions written on the packing box or on the filter element itself to avoid filter leakage, engine damage and environmental pollution.
- Fill the engine with the appropriate amount of oil.
- Run the engine at different speeds for 3-5 minutes and inspect for signs of leaks.
- Use the dipstick to check the engine oil level and top it up if necessary.
Due to the great difficulties associated with waste oil recycling (the need for special tools and high-quality expertise) it is recommended to change the oil in specialized auto repair shops.
