- To raise the engine hood, pull the lever located on the left side under the dashboard. The spring-loaded hood will open slightly.
- From the front of the vehicle, press the latch under the hood in the direction indicated by the arrow.
- Raise the hood manually.
Note: Before opening the hood, make sure the wipers are pressed against the windshield, otherwise the painted surface of the hood may be damaged.
- Remove the rod from the holder on the front cross panel and insert it into the hole made in the hood trim panel (indicated by the arrow).
- To close the hood, lift it slightly and insert the rod into the holder on the front cross panel.
- After lowering the hood to a height of about 30 cm, release it, allowing it to close on its own, without additional effort.
- Pull the hood up slightly to make sure it is securely fastened.
Caution: If you notice that the hood is slightly open while driving, stop the car immediately and close the hood.
