The oil level must be between the two arrows. If it has dropped to the bottom mark, then you need to additionally fill in about 1 liter of oil.
With a moderately calm driving pattern, it is enough to add additional oil when the level is at the bottom mark of the dipstick.
When driving dynamically, it is recommended to add oil when the level is in the lower third or quarter between the marks on the dipstick.
Instruction. If you bought oil in a large container, then it should be poured into a small, resistant to mineral oils, and firmly fixed in the trunk so that it could not budge when driving. Thus, it will be possible to additionally pour oil in small portions.
Engine oil compatibility
You can safely mix oils of different grades and manufacturers. This miscibility without dangerous consequences is a basic requirement of international oil regulations. Decisive is whether the specification fits (see fig.) for your diesel or turbodiesel engine.
Instruction. We do not recommend mixing mineral oil with synthetic oil due to their very different properties, although theoretically this should be without negative consequences.
And in any case, engine oils tested according to the VW 50,000 standard can be mixed.
