In front-wheel drive vehicles, due to the greater load on the front tires, tread wear occurs earlier than that of the rear axle tires.
To equalize the service life of all 4 tires on a vehicle, it is recommended to swap the front wheels with tires on the rear axle and vice versa.
For directional tires, make sure they are not turned upside down.
The longer a tire is used on a particular wheel of a car, the more it becomes aligned, so it is recommended to rotate the wheels at short mileage intervals, for example, every 5000 km.
Diagonal rotation is only possible for tires without a directional tread. This type of rotation is especially justified when the tread wears out in the form of a sawtooth track.
If the tread wear in the form of a saw-tooth track progresses and the tread is worn by more than 50%, this type of replacement will only give a small increase in mileage and is practically not justified. The elasticity of the tread blocks deteriorates and the saw-tooth wear stops progressing.
