To compress the spring, rotate the lead screw of the device with a wrench or ratchet. Compress the coil spring until it can no longer be removed. Remove the spring.

Installation

Then install the upper gasket on the upper part of the spring. Spread the spring compression device jaws, while the recess of the upper spring gasket should be aligned with the corresponding protrusion on the body. Remove the spring compression device. Install the wheel and tighten its mounting bolts.
