Shock absorber/ shock absorber/ coil spring (VW Polo 4)

1 - steering knuckle

1 - steering knuckle

2 - nut, 60 Nm + 90°

Replace after each dismantling.

3 — bolt
Replace after each dismantling.

4 — shock absorber
Replaced separately.

5 - Limiting buffer

6 - corrugated cover

7 - coil spring

Use springs with the same color marking and replace both axle springs at the same time. Install springs from only one manufacturer on the axle. The outer surfaces of the spring coils must not be damaged.

8 - thrust ball bearing with grooved raceways

9 — shock absorber support

10 — nut, 60 Nm + 90°

Self-locking, replace after each dismantling.

11 — wheel arch support cup

12 — bolt, 15 Nm + 90°

Replace after each dismantling. When installing the shock absorber strut, first install the bolts from the inside of the car.

13 — cap
Mounted in the wheel arch support cup.
