Luggage compartment door trims (VW Tiguan 1)

Removal and installation the upper trim of the luggage compartment door

Detach trim "1" in the middle (the trim clips should come out of the sockets of the luggage compartment door). Detach the trim from the side trims "2" and "3".

Installation

Instructions: Before installation, check the integrity of the mounting brackets. Replace damaged brackets.

Fix trim "1" in side trims "2" and "3". Orient trim "1" so that all guides "2" and brackets "3" are opposite the corresponding holes in the luggage compartment door. Press on trim "1" in the area of the guides and brackets so that they are fixed in the corresponding holes in the luggage compartment door.

Removal and installation the side trim of the luggage compartment door

Instructions: The work on removing and installing the left side of the car is described below. The work on removing and installing the right side of the car is carried out in a similar manner.

Remove the upper trim of the luggage compartment lid. Jerk the upper end of the trim "1" in the area of the bracket "2" and guide "3" so that they come out of the sockets in the luggage compartment lid. Remove the trim from the mounting sockets in the luggage compartment lid trim "4", "arrow A" and "arrow B".

Removal and installation the trunk lid trim

Remove the upper trim of the luggage compartment door. Remove the side trims of the luggage compartment door. Remove the plugs "1" in both recesses of the handles. Unscrew the screw "1" (1.5 Nm) in both recesses of the handles.



Grasp one of these handles and pull trim "1" away from the luggage compartment door.
