The panoramic sunroof can only be controlled when the ignition is on. After the ignition is turned off, the sunroof can be controlled until the front left or front right door is opened. The opening of the front section is changed using the regulator "1". Setting the section to the so-called comfort position "4" prevents the increase in wind noise, which increases when the sunroof is fully open. By rocking the regulator, you can raise and lower the sunroof section. The regulator "1" has built-in keys for opening "2" and closing the sunblind "3".
The panoramic sunroof mechanism has a closing force limiter. If any obstacle appears in its path during the closing of the sunroof, it will automatically open again. In addition, the sunroof is equipped with an emergency closing function. In case of problems with closing the sunroof, it can be closed in emergency mode by pressing the rear part of the "arrow" regulator. The rotary ring of the regulator must be in the "hatch closed" position. During emergency closing, the closing force limiter does not work.
The sunroof drive motor is equipped with overheating protection, the activation of which depends on various factors. After a short cooling pause, the motor is ready for operation again. In the absence of power supply, the front section of the sunroof and the curtain can be moved manually.
Initializing the panoramic sunroof
Instructions: After replacing the glass section, motor, sunroof lifting mechanism parts or sunshade, it is necessary to perform initialization for the corresponding drive. During initialization, the closing force limiter does not work.

The ignition is on. The rotary ring of the regulator should be in the position - "hatch closed". Move the regulator "1" down "arrow" and hold it in this position during the entire initialization process (about 20 sec). During initialisation, the glass section first closes and then moves back by approximately 200 mm. Once the hatch has closed again, the regulator can be released - initialisation is complete.
