1. General description of the ignition system given in chapter 4, also applies to the ignition system installed on 6-cylinder engines, except for the obvious difference in the number of cylinders serviced.

2. Similarly, the procedures for maintenance and repair of the system are similar. The main differences will be discussed below.

3. When working with the ignition system installed on 6-cylinder engines, you should be guided by Specifications, given at the beginning of this Appendix.
