37. Before disconnecting the ignition wires, mark them according to the cylinder numbers.

38. Before removing the spark plug, clean the spark plug hole with a clean brush to prevent dirt from getting into the cylinder.
39. To check the operation of the spark plug, remove it from the cylinder and, holding the spark plug with pliers with insulated handles, bring it to a good ground and turn the engine with the starter (see photo).

40. The spark plug should produce a clearly visible spark.
41. Before installing the spark plugs, check the condition of the sealing washers and apply a small amount of high-temperature grease to the spark plug threads.
42. Tighten the spark plugs by hand, being careful not to strip the threads. Finally tighten the spark plugs to the specified torque using a torque wrench (be very careful not to damage the cylinder head).
